Terry Thompson, President of Hamptons Home Staging and
Redesign, LLC, is an HSR Certified Professional Home Stager
and seasoned real estate investor. Terry's passion for home
transformation evolved through her own personal real estate
experiences. Having moved to Southampton in 1991, with a
successful career in the Financial Investment Industry,
Terry developed a love for "East End" living. She was one
of those few 10% who could see the potential in an
"undesirable" property. By purchasing, redesigning, and
reselling several homes at substantial profits, she
discovered her natural creative ability to accentuate a
home’s strong points, thus maximizing its value. This
transition from the Financial to the Real Estate Industry
brought forth a multitude of opportunities for Terry to
follow her passion.
Most recently Terry has built and sold several "spec"
homes, as well as purchased and renovated foreclosure
properties. With this diverse back-round in real estate and
redesign, she began to assist family, friends and
acquaintances with their home's "challenges", incorporating
staging with her unique “S-P-A-C-I-O-U-S” process. As the
referrals poured in, Terry loved the satisfaction that came
with helping others to change their lives. By showing
people how to realize the potential already in their homes,
they found "wealth" they never knew existed.
After transforming a client’s multi-million dollar,
waterfront property, Terry realized this was not only a
passion, but also a rewarding and challenging business.

Michelle
McGarity has spent the last 15 years working in the
“East End” real estate industry.
She has worked as a mortgage
originator, and a real estate investor, in New York, Florida
and Europe.
Always an “out of the box”, thinker and
planner, she found home staging a natural career evolution.
Michelle is an avid
advocate for foster children, and works with several
non-profit organizations as a way to “give back”.
She enjoys travelling, adventure, and living life to
its fullest.
She is currently drafting a plan to provide
opportunities for Hamptons Home Staging Clients to donate
their unwanted items to those in need in the community.
Currently residing in
Quogue, Michelle is married and has one daughter.
She finds a sense of humor goes a long way in an
imperfect world.
With 15 years combined experience, so began Hamptons Home
Staging and Redesign.
